Acclaimed Nigeria singer, Yemi Alade is set to take her career by storm! Last year, she surprised us with creative and fantastic Singles like “How I feel” and “Oga”. The Singles came with a new style that is different from her usual Mama Africa Shtick.
And now, just like her vibe, she has taken her music beyond the shores of Africa as she teamed up with Grammy-nominated American rapper, Rick Ross for a remix of her terrific new song “Oh My Gosh”.
On the original track of “Oh My Gosh”, Yemi Alade retained her usual identity -Mama Africa – sound. However, in the one she remixed with Rick Ross, the beat was modified but her songwriting remained unchanged as she happily wore her heart on her sleeve, singing the lyric that describes how her lover makes her feel.
Rick Ross on his part, and in his usual style, rapped a verse that has little to do with the song but still manages to be enjoyable and suck less.
