The Tinapa Business and Leisure Resort that was conceived by the Donald Duke administration will be coming up strong soon to further boost the economy of Cross River State as Governor Ben Ayade appoints Ojong Ayiba, as its new Managing Director.
The development is contained in a statement by Governor Ayade’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Christian Ita.
Ayiba’s appointment takes immediate effect.
Tinapa was, however, conceptualised to be an integrated business resort. It is a four-phased development promoted by the Cross River State Government under a Private Public Partnership (PPP), and very close to Calabar Free Trade Zone.
Governor Ayade’s media handlers say it is the realisation of an exciting dream – the first integrated business and leisure resort in Nigeria.
Tinapa Business Resort Free Zone
It has world-class facilities that enable visitors to engage in retail and wholesale activities as well as leisure and entertainment. Tinapa has lettable space for retail and wholesale, several line shops, warehouses etc.
