For Comrade Jonadab Arueya, CEO of Wahala No Dey Travels and Tours, Sunday the 29th of August will go down in history as one of his memorable days. It was a celebration of both life’s achievements and God’s unending faithfulness when he marked his birthday on the above mentioned date.

In the event, laced with dignitaries from all walks of the Travelling, an elated Arueya dazzled and thrilled all that were present in well calculated dance steps. Among others, some of the associations that had personalities in attendance were Ewvreni Clans Improvement Union (ECIU) Lagos Chapter, Urhobo Progressives Union (UPU) Lagos Chapter, Ikorodu Travel Forum (ITF) and Travel Consultant Club of Nigeria (TCCN).

The climax of the event was when the Travel Consultant Club of Nigeria (TCCN) presented a National Excellence Leadership Award (NELA) to him, in recognition of his outstanding “Excellence Leadership” contribution to the growth and development of the club.

In a brief chat with Stanley Ugagbe of The News Chronicle, Arueya, who expressed joy over the privilege to see another birthday, noted that he wants to do more for the industry, society and Nigeria at large.

“I have built a career for myself as a personnel in the Traveling Industry which gave birth to Wahala No Dey – Travel Consultant Company. We are working assiduously to ensure that in the next few years, it will become a brand in every household”.

“I am delighted at where I am today; I want to thank God Almighty who has given me the opportunity to mark another birthday”.

On his award, Arueya said “It came as a surprise, and it only shows that my contributions are being noticed. I want to thank the club for this esteemed award. And again, it is a call to do more – there are challenges in the industry and some of us are working day and night to ensure that these challenges become a thing of the past so that the industry can be competitive among other international counterparts”.

He thanked all those who came from far and near to celebrate with him on his birthday. More importantly, Arueya thanked his family members who have been supportive in his journey so far and were also on ground during the celebration. He, especially, lauded his wife, describing her as a pillar. “My wife has been my backbone. She has been very supportive and instrumental in my journey so far and I appreciate her,” he said.
