Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-German have sacked their manager Thomas Tuchel.

Tuchel was appointed head coach in 2018 and he won two Ligue 1 titles consecutively, he also won the Coupe de France and Coupe de la Ligue in 2020.

He led PSG to the champions league final after many years where they lost 1-0 to Bayern Munich.

The 47-year-old fell short of performance this season as PSG currently sit third in the Ligue 1 table, behind Lyon and Lille.

Tuchel was relieved of duties despite PSG 4-0 victory over Strasbourg on Wednesday night.

According to reports, former Tottenham boss, Mauricio Pochettino is likely to emerge as the next manager for the French side.
