TNC Tautology Series

Welcome to another day of English lessons. You know what that meansโ€ฆ Another vicious tautology chain will be broken today ๐Ÿ˜

Please study the sentence in the post. This one is a bit tricky because it sounds so good, intelligent and correct especially if you now add some foreign accent to it ๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ But this one is the worst because there are three words as opposed to the usual two.

  1. First: the beginning
  2. Foremost: the first
  3. Begin: addressing the first ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ See now?

I understand why people say this but it does not make it correct.

The ideal thing to say will be โ€œletโ€™s beginโ€ฆโ€ or โ€œfirstโ€ฆ โ€ or โ€œforemostโ€ฆ โ€

See that writing the correct thing is shorter and easier ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๐Ÿ˜.

Please take note and change your ways if this is you.
