Ndoma-Egba, Moro Greet David Mark at 73

Former Senate Leader, Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba and the current Senator representing Benue South Senatorial District, Comrade Patrick Abba Moro, have congratulated erstwhile Senate President, Senator David Mark on the occasion of his 73rd birthday anniversary.

Ndoma-Egba, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, SAN, described the life of the former number three citizen of the country as most durable and remarkable.

The former Chairman of Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) said: “His (David Mark’s) longevity in public service  notwithstanding he has not been smeared in any way.”

He joined the former Senate President in thanking God and prayed for long life in good health for him.

On his part, Moro described Mark, his predecessor as “The Boss of all bosses. A mentor. A father” and his Principal for life.

He prayed God to enlarge his coast and grant him good health, many more blessings and fruitful years ahead so he could continue to contribute his quota to the growth and development of Benue South, Benue State and Nigeria in general.

Senator Mark, the immediate past Senator representing Benue South Senatorial District and the Okpokpowulu k’Idoma, clocked 73 years on April 8, 2021. He was in the Senate for 20 years from 1999 to 2019 and served as the Senate President for 8 years in the 6th and 7th Senate.

A soldier turned politician, Mark, a staunch member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), was the Governor of Niger State from 1984 to 1986 and one-time Minister of Communication under the military regime.
