An emotionally tortured Nigerian lady has recounted how her boyfriend of two years parted ways with her on grounds of food.
In a post on Facebook shared by social influencer Amanda Chisom, the troubled lady sought the advice of the public on what to do following the break up ordeal.
She wrote:
I’m so confused and emotionally down, I sincerely need an advice on this……
I have been in a relationship for almost 2yrs in which d guy has proposed and I say yes… But what scared me most is that any time we have misunderstanding, he quickly jumps into another relationship with another lady or his ex, have tried discussing this issue with him dat I don’t like d way he deals with issues but there are no changes…. We’ve gone to meet our parents and they have given us consent to proceed for wedding….
He is working and I am working as well though he’s earning more than me, but there was this day he listed house rent, chairs and mattress and asked me how much will I contribute there, though it got me angry a little bit because on my part I have tried to buy some things like kitchen utensils and d likes but later I overlooked it and decide to contribute to it, but after a month of the discussion he broke up with me again on no account of anything that I have done wrong and he went to meet another lady again, I begged him before he came back to me. and I can’t really say what I did wrong……
Meanwhile, he’s d man who broke my virginity and I loved him so much, I have tried all I could to be patient with him, but this very attitude of his is tiring but I still love him that I have rejected many proposals…..
Any of my mistakes now is an opportunity to seek for breakup, I can’t correct him for his wrongdoing again…..
Of recent now, he has broken up again with me because he was coming to visit me and I didn’t make food on time, I quickly rushed to prepared food for him and he rejected the food ……..
.. He has been seeing a new lady now and she even lived with him at times…. He broke up with me and saying he doesn’t want me to tell anyone about d breakup and he doesn’t want to receive call from anyone…..
Please, I am emotionally down, I am totally depressed as to where I should start my journey again…. Please advice me, I have never cheated on this guy since we started dating, please this guy has really broken me down totally…..
