Living the war: Being a soldier or joining an army

Photo: TNC

Long, long time ago

Not facing his demons

Runs back to find/call men

To chase out trouble from its coven

And make sure demons/issues have no haven

Finds man to pick on, pardon and befriend

Nature and earth to forever apprehend

Refuse the visioned-dream that one day

All [men] shall beg to join the army

Not for endless wars alone, but for living

Eagles pleading/landing to soar in company

Paid by nature and kings

From booties and reserves

Loot, loot, by friends on friends, aliens and fencers [fence sitters]

lifting to their fence what they can

Ideas never stay, the commonness of captains

And soon all human, soldiers, find no difference with the army

He signs with his mobile country

His head/mind he trusts

And breathe for armoury

Men in the rail were reeling/swimming

Wright worked and started flying

One says ‘democracy’, today

All say ‘we must do it’

A soldier man is born

As new wood, into an army he may burn

Fighting a war often boring

Victory or loss he will be burying

Its good for man to learn

The art of living war

Why, what, how shall train a soldier

Foresight of fate, he comes for a reason

He could join the army and never fight,

Or be a warrior that never was infantry

Armies meet, soldiers fight

We can do without armies, but the earth needs soldiers

Soldiers must not fight soldiers, nor armies, armies

But must raise ‘family’

‘fetching water’ they be needing
