Liverpool Football Club over the night reached an agreement with Brighton to sign Moises Caicedo for a British record of around £110m according to the club journalist Neil Jones.
Liverpool, after facing several rejections from Southampton for their bids on Romeo Lavia who demanded €50m for the Belgian, chose the Ecuadorian. The team has scheduled his medical for Friday.
Neil Jones on his Facebook page wrote:
“Incredible news overnight, as Liverpool have agreed a deal to sign Moisés Caicedo from Brighton & Hove Albion.
The deal is worth a British record £110m, with a medical planned for Friday. “
