Dortmund star breaks Celestine Babayaro’s 26 years record

Borussia Dortmund youngster Youssoufa Moukoko broke the record for the youngest player to debut in the UEFA champions league.
The youngster made his champions league debut after being subbed on in the 58 minutes as Dortmund defeat zenith 2-1
This has now made him the youngest player to ever feature in the champions league at 16 years and 18 days, breaking Celestine Babayaro’s 26-year record.
The Nigerian left-back, Celestine Babayaro was 16 years, 87 days old when he played for Belgian club Anderlecht in the group stage in 1994.
This has now made it two records broken by Youssoufa Moukoko, with the first where he was the youngest player to debut in Bundesliga at 16 years and a day old in Dortmund’s 5-2 win over Hertha Berlin,  a record once held by Ex Dortmund player Nuri Sahin.
Moukoko is Cameroonian by birth,  but moved to Germany as a child and has played for German youth national teams.
