COVID 19: Bauchi records 150 new cases

At least 150 persons have tested positive for Coronavirus at the new Bauchi State Molecular Laboratory, bringing the total number of infection in the state to 482.

This was contained in the Bauchi COVID 19 Situation report and made available to journalists in Bauchi.

According to the report, as at 23rd June 2020, a total of 101 patients are currently under medical care at the various Isolation centres in the state with a Case Fatality Rate of 2.3%.

So far, a total of 3,149 samples have been collected from patients out of which 49 results are still pending while a total of 370 have fully recovered and have been discharged.

No death according to the report has been recorded, however, since the outbreak of the pandemic,11 persons have lost their lives so far.
