Clocking man

He wakes forcefully to a timed time

And slips to sleep in untimed time

Dreams are cut short, how shall fulfilment come

Minds are not poured in meetings

The defaulter’s bell is ringing

Teachers leave before students learn

Shall Thursday today, look like Friday yesterday

Should not only Sabbath time matter

Is there not sun that set

In daily seasons set

Surely it will also rise

To be seen or missed by waiting eyes

Are there not cocks that crow

In waking times we know

Oh, sorry to not comprehend

That no man is island

And we need to share and work with nature

For time will not be swindled by any measure

Avoiding arguments and claims of ignorance

The unworthy mascot ticks and turns

While the player flies the field

And our eyes on the mascot alone

But if man will spend with wisdom

Then for records and meetings it shall count

The prince was forced to marry

Though his love did tarry

Samaritans are told to wait

Till disables unlock the gate

We are just clocking man

And time is passing by
