Thousands of Afghans and foreign citizens have been gathered at the airport for days trying to flee the country since the Taliban took over earlier this month. Many Western nations had put their voice to the ongoing situation in the country and warned of a possible attack.

British Prime Minister had had insinuated earlier that the time is short for a complete evacuation of people fleeing Afghanistan.

The explosion is coming just as there had been intelligence reports and warning of an impending attack on the airport. An Islamic State group has also threatened to strike.

More details to unfold……..
