Bill Gates finally Congratulates President Buhari on his Re-Election

World’s richest man and founder of Microsoft, Bill Gates has congratulated President Muhammadu Buhari on his re-election.

Speaking in a telephone call with the President on Wednesday evening, Mr. Gates said he was happy to be associated with the president, adding that he would be committed to the success of the administration and the well- being of the country, expressing his willingness to do more.

President Muhammadu Buhari commended Bill Gates for his consistent and generous support to public causes around the globe, and specifically for supporting the eradication of polio and HIV diseases in Africa and Nigeria in particular.

He added that Mr. Gate’s wealth has benefitted Nigeria’s development, and expressed appreciation for the call.
